Twiggy teams up with daughter Carly for special fashion shoot

With their beautiful complexions and stunning figures, Twiggy and Carly Lawson could easily be mistaken for sisters instead of mother and daughter.

The two blondes are modelling together for the first time. The 29-year-old has joined her mum – who looks much younger than her 58 years - to promote the 60s icon's new collection for online shopping company Littlewoods Direct.

"Carly and I have always wanted to work together," says the legendary model, who has also enjoyed success in the film and music worlds.

Carly is the daughter of Twiggy's first husband, US actor Michael Whitney, who died in 1983. She changed her surname following her mum's marriage to Leigh Lawson in 1988.

She has also followed her mum into fashion – although behind the scenes – working as a print designer for Stella McCartney.
