Keep blush fresh and natural looking – pink if you're fair and rose if you're dark – but use a layer or two more than normal so it's picked up in photos as the use of flash can be draining.
Apply it on the apples of your cheeks to look fresh or lightly under cheekbones to highlight bone structure. Be careful not to add it in rigid stripes, though, as they're also picked up in photos.
And use highlighter along the tips of cheekbones, on browbones and the jawline to catch the light and make skin look luminescent – and more youthful – in your pictures.
