Stars rely on their favourite labels for getting noticed among a bevy of other bikini-clad babes. Jaipur-based Liza Bruce includes models, high society girls and Hollywood starlets among her fans. Sienna Miller even wore one of the designer's £245 cut-away one-pieces to an LA restaurant for a date with Jude Law, while Mischa Barton and Jemima Khan stick to wearing theirs in more traditional territory. Those in search of something especially eye-catching head for Tara Matthews, whose couture costumes are intended strictly for posing rather than swimming. Catherine Zeta-Jones is a customer, as is Beyonce, who owns ten of Tara's creations. Another A-list favourite is Melissa Odabash, whose body-shaping suits have adorned the toned forms of Uma Thurman, Gwyneth Paltrow and Halle Berry.
Some celebrities look just as good in high street brands as they do in couture pieces, however. Soul diva Joss Stone and Coleen McLoughlin have both shown off their curves in the same £30 Warehouse polka dot bikini, while Charlotte Church - who cites River Island as one of her favourite shopping haunts - never fails to look fabulous in her bargain buys.
