In October, Priyanka revealed what she looks for in a partner, telling PEOPLE: "Truly this is what worked for me, he has to be someone who respects you. By that, I don't mean makes coffee for you, not that. But someone who respects the hard work you put into your life." She added: "Who respects that if his work is important, so is yours. Or if he makes choices that are important to him, so is your opinion. That's respect, and that’s incredible to have."

During a recent chat with E! News, Nick opened up about why Priyanka is the woman he wants to spend the rest of this life with. "So many things," he gushed. "I can go on and get all mushy but the thing that really connected both of us is our love for family and faith and importance of being connected to those who are always going to be with you. And we found that in each other as well, which is a beautiful thing and I am excited to start our life together."
