Prince William and Kate's two eldest children have acted as a pageboy and bridesmaid in no less than four weddings in recent years, and no doubt would have been given the honour again the had their uncle James Middleton's wedding to Alizee Thevenet been able to go ahead in May 2020 as planned.
George and Charlotte were also expected to be in the bridal party for Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's nuptials last year, but the couple tied the knot in a much smaller ceremony in Windsor last July with a handful of close family and friends amid restrictions.

The royal siblings made their wedding debuts at their aunt Pippa Middleton's wedding in May 2017, and almost exactly one year later, they took up the roles once again for Prince Harry and Meghan's royal wedding.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte have since joined the bridal parties for Kate's close friend Sophie Carter, as well as Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank in October 2018.

The future King looked a lot perkier at the wedding of his mum's friend, Sophie Carter in September 2018. George pretended to march like a solder, swinging his arms back and forth while an amused Charlotte watched from behind.
The little boy certainly kept his mum entertained!

The royals are rarely pictured in the arms of anyone apart from their parents, but here Charlotte is held by the bride and her godmother, Sophie Carter. Sophie, who married in September 2018 in Norfolk, is close pals with the Duchess of Cambridge.

The adorable youngster rightened herself straight away as she made her way into the service.

© Photo: RexDespite the wind, Princess Charlotte looked delighted to be a bridesmaid at her dad's cousin's wedding, and gave the gathered crowds a cheery wave as she made her way into St. George's Chapel with her big brother, Prince George, and fellow bridesmaids, Isla and Savannah Phillips, Maud Windsor, Mia Tindall and Theodora Williams.

Dressed in a white shirt with a brightly coloured sash to match the bridesmaid dresses, the adorable youngster was one of two pageboys along with Louis de Givenchy.

The dresses were by royal favourite Amaia Kids, while the sashes incorporated the Mark Bradford artwork colour scheme which was used in the order of service.
