Robin Roberts is never one to sit still for long and over the holidays she well and truly enjoyed a rest.
The Good Morning America star went away to her "happy place", Key West in Florida, over the Christmas period, before enjoying some downtime at her country home ahead of her return to work.
On her return, the 61-year-old delighted fans with a rare look at her country home in Connecticut, as she shared a gorgeous poolside photo on social media.

The picture was taken during a dinner with her partner Amber Laign, as they marked the new start to the year.
The scene looked like something from a hotel, with their pool lit up alongside a decadent feast of food laid out on the table, which was decorated in candles.
Now back at work, there's no stopping Robin, who has been lighting up viewer's mornings across the United States on GMA.

The star splits her time between Connecticut and New York, where she lives during the week so that she is in easy reach of the GMA studios.
The TV favorite has a beautiful penthouse located in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, a popular location among television hosts.
What's more, Robin lives alone during the week, as Amber stays in Connecticut, but during the pandemic they experienced living together full time for the first time in their relationship.
Robin and her partner Amber Laign have been dating for 16 years
Robin moved to her country house for several months where she remotely hosted GMA from her basement at the height of the pandemic.
Usually, Amber lives there, but Robin only spends the weekends there, as she is based in New York during the weekdays for work at GMA.

She told People magazine that the key to their new way of life during those months was patience. "We spent more time together this year than in the previous 15 years combined," she told the publication back in April.
"We've never been stronger!" She continued: "I remember when I packed up part of my dressing room here [in New York] and headed home to Connecticut a year ago. I'm glad I packed a lot of patience."
