Just last month Kate Middleton's hairdresser Richard Ward revealed that her hair style is not as iconic as 'The Rachel', but Jennifer Aniston herself has now admitted she's jealous of Kate's long, glossy locks. "Does she do her hair herself?" Jennifer joked during an interview with Marie Claire, admitting that in spite of her own famous haircut, she has "hair envy" when it comes to the expectant Duchess' perfectly styled 'Chelsea blowdry'.

"She's got a hard job being scrutinized like that," said Jennifer "When I have a bad hair day, my hair just goes in a clip."

During the interview Jennifer added that 'The Rachel', the layered bob made famous in the mid-nineties when Jennifer played Rachel Green in the hit sitcom Friends, happened by accident.

When the show started Jennifer was asked to change her long hair and did so by just asked a stylist to cut it shorter. "My manager at the time said, 'You have to do something with your hair—it's horrible!'" said Jennifer. "I walked into the salon and Chris [McMillan, her stylist] just lopped it off. I mean, at that point it was pretty much The Rachel."

Kate's hairdresser and stylist to the stars, Richard Ward, spoke of the immense trend Jennifer's hairstyle started. "I really don't remember another time in my whole career where people have come in and asked for a haircut as many times," he said in reference to the bouncy, layered mid-length hairstyle. "Not even people wanting Kate Middleton. "Jennifer hasn't drastically changed her hairstyle since her days on Friends.

"I'm a creature of habit," she said. "I like a good, straight blowout, I love my hair most when we let it go raw and natural. "The Bruce Almighty actress also revealed she'll be sticking to her trademark hairstyle for her impending wedding to actor Justin Theroux. "For my wedding, I wouldn't do an updo, but I think a veil is always pretty. "I like loose and natural hair because it goes against the formality of the dress. Loose, like, "I just got out of bed maybe had a romp" hair."
