Tan France expecting baby number two with husband Rob France

The Queer Eye star and his husband have been married since 2007 and share one-year-old Ismail

Tan France is expanding  his family! The Queer Eye star is expecting his second child with husband Rob France.

The couple, who have been married since 2007, welcomed their first son, Ismail, in July of 2021 via surrogacy. The 39-year-old fashion guru announced the news in partnership with Bobbie, an organic baby formula company popular among influencers.

"Hard to believe it was two years ago today we announced Ismail was on his way! And today – we couldn't be prouder to share that he's going to be a big brother!" he wrote on Instagram, as he shared a clip of Bobbie's podcast Milk Drunk.

He added: "Becoming dads has been our greatest joy, and we are so excited to grow our family with the help of our wonderful surrogate."

"I'm excited to share more about our journey through surrogacy, becoming dads of two and a few choice words for anyone with opinions on our choices," he further said.

Tan recently opened up about being a first-time father while on The Drew Barrymore Show, and credited his Next in Fashion co-host Gigi Hadid for "life-changing" advice. The model, also a first-time parent, welcomed her first daughter, Khai Hadid Malik, with her ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik in September of 2020.

During his appearance on the popular morning show, he explained that their babies are only eight months apart, and that: "I learned so much about being a parent from G." Gigi was promptly flattered, and he told her: "Did I not text you a thousand times, like, 'What would you do in this situation? I can't get my baby to stop crying. How do we do this?'"

He recalled asking the mother-of-one about the best way to put baby Ismail down for a nap, and told her: "You gave pretty good advice," before explaining: "I was holding him eight hours a day for his naps, and Gigi was like, 'I'm gonna give you a tip, this is how you ease out of it.'"

He continued: "She was like, 'Put him in the stroller, he can still see you, and walk around your island in your house, and then just put the stroller there and just kind of walk away and sit there. He can still see you and then he'll gradually fall asleep.'"

Tan then admitted: "That advice changed my life!" which Gigi was immediately pleased to hear.
