When it comes to beauty looks, Nicola Peltz has proven her versatility time and time again. From statement bleached brows and blonde locks to full on fringes and tight winged liner – the actress is no stranger to switching it up.
And what better time for a beauty refresh than the start of a new year? Nicola certainly agrees. While her latest look is certainly less permanent than some of her previous transformations, it is no less striking.

In a post shared on Instagram with her 2.7m followers, the actress posed with her head tilted to the side as a male friend, Giuliano Calza, creative director of fashion label GCDS, kissed her on the cheek. Exuding her typical It-girl radiance, the 27-year-old showed off her flawless complexion alongside a statement red lip. Because of its slight sheen, the lipstick appeared to have a satin finish – a formula that falls between dull, non-shiny matte and the shinier finish of a gloss.
Channelling an Old Hollywood starlet, Nicola's blue-based red lip took centre stage, and even stole the show in a second photo that she posted featuring her husband Brooklyn Beckham. Not one to miss out on the kissing action, the 23-year-old sported some makeup of his own – lipstick imprints on his cheek that presumably were bestowed upon him by Nicola.

Red lipsticks have somewhat fallen out of favour within beauty circles in recent years, perhaps because of the impracticalities associated with rocking a bright shade under a mask. But as we enter a new era, we reckon revisiting this beauty classic is long overdue – consider us utterly inspired. Thanks Nicola.
The actress finished off her vintage glam-inspired beauty look with a tight wing of black eyeliner, a dash of mascara on both her upper and lower lashes and the wildest orange-red stiletto nails.
