Hello HELLO! readers, I'm Rebecca Lewis taking over for the rest of this fine day, and we've got some big news coming out of Buckingham Palace.
His Royal Highness Prince Edward will visit Prince Edward Island in Canada from Wednesday June 25 to Wednesday July 2 2025.
The Duke will attend celebrations marking the 150th anniversary of the Prince Edward Island Regiment, including a Freedom of the City parade, visit the Abegweit First Nation, and meet youth organizations.
He will also visit Toronto, and attend a service at Christ Church, His Majesty’s Chapel Royal of the Mohawk, the first Protestant Church in Upper Canada and the oldest surviving church in the province of Ontario.
European news
Today has been all about Ascot but across Europe, Princess Catharina-Amalia appeared with her arm in a sling as she was seen for the first time since her horse riding accident.
The 21-year-old Dutch royal joined her father, King Willem-Alexander at the presentation of a new standard to the Princess Catharina-Amalia Hussar Regiment at the Prince Bernhard Barracks in Amersfoort on Wednesday.
