King Frederik and Queen Mary's 'special' day
The Danish royals' cruise continues, and the family took to their official instagram page to share an update from their day in Læsø, the largest island in the North Sea bay of Kattegat.
Translated, the caption reads: "The Royal Ship Dannebrog brought Their Majesties the King and Queen to Læsø today, where the day has offered nature and the island's special culture.
The day began with a nature safari on the Rønnerne, which is one of Denmark's largest marsh and wade sea areas. Parts of the area are protected with birdlife, flora and fauna, and along the way the Majesties experienced a sea eagle and the wildlife of the area.
The Majesties also visited Læsø Saltsyderi, where the history of salt production was introduced, and the Majesties greeted schoolchildren who participated in a field day about salt.
Later we went to Læsø Museumsgård, where the Majesties were shown around the historic farm with the characteristic plank roof."
Queen Mary channels Princess Kate
While our eyes are on Denmark, let's take a second to appreciate the ever-so-stylish Queen Mary, who always steps out in pieces with the most timeless silhouettes and elegant prints – and has a lot in common with Princess Kate, when it comes to fashion.
Take a look at her maxi dress from the cruise, which could be straight out of the Princess of Wales' wardrobe, and shop the look, here.
