Lady Eliza and Lady Amelia's glittering night
Double trouble! Lady Amelia Spencer and her twin sister Lady Eliza were the belles of the ball when they attended the Zuhair Murad Haute Couture Week Spring/Summer 2026 show as part of Paris Fashion Week.
The pair brought their royal sense of style to the occasion, Lady Amelia wearing a dazzling burgundy structured dress, slicking her long blonde locks back into a ponytail.
Meanwhile, Lady Eliza chose a plunging structured jacket and matching black trousers for the evening of fashion, leaving her hair to flow in mermaid-like waves.
The Queen attends Dame Jilly Cooper's funeral
Queen Camilla looked solemn as she led a host of celebrity stars paying tribute to the late Dame Jilly Cooper at a memorial service to celebrate her life on Friday.
The author, who passed away unexpectedly on 5 October 2025, aged 88, was honoured by hundreds of famous names at Southwark Cathedral in London, including the cast of her TV series, Rivals, on Friday.
These included Katherine Parkinson and Alex Hassell, who famously plays the lead character, the devilish Rupert Campbell Black, in the "Bonkbuster". Bella Maclean, who plays Taggie, was also present.
King Felipe meets the Slovenian President
On his 58th birthday, King Felipe met with the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar.
Nataša is currently on a visit to Spain to attend the second GWL Voices Dialogue.
A poignant close
Closing their visit to Lithuania, Queen Mary and King Frederik took part in the opening of the exhibition "Friends in Need" at the National Library of Lithuania.
The exhibition launches a program year that in the coming year will celebrate the connection between the two countries, and includes, among other things, the installation "A Fleet of Friendship, Light and Hope" with lantern ships created by Danish and Lithuanian children and adults.
Prince William the football fan
Prince William enjoyed a surprise night out at the football on Thursday night - made all the more sweet by his team, Aston Villa, soaring to victory. The Prince of Wales, 43, was seen in the stands at Villa Park in Birmingham to watch the Europa League game against Salzburg FC, punching the air as his side won 3-2.
The heir to the throne sat next to the owner and director of football for the club and also appeared to be joined by his childhood friend, Edward van Cutsem, the King's godson. William's eldest son, Prince George, 12, who has previously accompanied him to games, did not appear to be present. Read the full story here.
The Spanish royals' softer side
In a new video shared by the Spanish royal family's official Instagram account, Infanta Sofia was seen meeting a puppy from the Breeding and Training Center of the 'ELEVEN Guide Dog Foundation', who will soon be assigned to a blind person to work with them.
She also visited an exhibition where she saw how the guide dogs were trained to help blind people avoid obstacles, use stairs, and more.
