Queen Camilla wears butter yellow
It was the hottest trend of 2025, but Queen Camilla proved it was still going strong when she arrived at All Saints Church in Kemble. She donned a simple shift dress, worn layered with a scallop-trim jacket and a wide-brimmed hat. The royal was in fine spirits upon exiting the car and making her way into the church ahead of the ceremony.
Mother of the groom, Princess Anne
Princess Anne was every inch the proud mother-of-the-groom in her yellow ensemble. Several royal guests were wearing yellow, which got us thinking - what is the symbolism behind the colour?
According to colour psychology, the colour yellow carries a unique complexity, acting as a symbol for both vibrant warmth and alertness. Within the field of color psychology, it is frequently linked to sunshine, intellect, happiness, and joy.
The Princess Royal's outfit also boasts a sentimental touch. She opted to rewear the daffodil-yellow hat she wore to her daughter Zara's christening in 1981.
King Charles in high spirits as he arrives
King Charles was in great spirits as he arrived at the church, flashing a big smile and a wave as he exited his car. The monarch perfectly coordinated with his wife Queen Camilla, matching his butter yellow waistcoat to her bright summery dress.
The engagement between the Princess Royal's son and Harriet, who first began dating in 2024, was officially announced last August. Since then, the couple has been firmly welcomed into the inner circle, even joining Charles and Camilla at Royal Ascot last June, where they were invited to participate in the traditional royal carriage procession onto the Berkshire racecourse.
The wedding coincides with the Epsom Derby, requiring the King and Queen to make a swift departure from the church ceremony to the racecourse. They are scheduled to arrive in time to catch the headline race of the season and present the trophy to the winner.
Zara Tindall looks beautiful in periwinkle
Zara Tindall was a vision in a fitted periwinkle dress by her go-to designer Rebecca Vallance and a coordinating headband. The groom's sister, who was accompanied by her daughters Mia and Lena Tindall, was on greeting duties, sharing hugs and kisses as she arrived outside the church.
Accessorising to perfection, she completed her look with a pair of silver stilettos and large pearl drop earrings. Meanwhile, her daughter Mia looked adorable in a blue floral dress, debuting her first pair of heels.
The Edinburghs step out - without Lady Louise Windsor
The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh were also in attendance at the special event. Duchess Sophie's Beulah London dress featured a pleated skirt featuring the brand's trademark button detailing on the pleated skirt and ruffles on the sleeves.
She pushed the boat out when it came to her accessories; her elegant look was completed by a fabulous, feather embellished hat and an on-trend raffia bag with floral appliques. While her daughter Lady Louise Windsor was nowhere to be seen, the couple were accompanied by their son James, Earl of Wessex, who is currently studying for his A-levels.
Are we seeing the start of the Harriet effect?
Whenever Princess Kate debuts a new look - whether it's a specific lipstick shade or a simple shawl - the item almost instantly sells out, a phenomenon widely known as "The Kate Effect."
This term highlights the immense economic influence wielded by the Princess of Wales. However, with a polished, intelligent, and charismatic new woman joining the royal family today, it raises the question: are we seeing the dawn of "The Harriet Effect"?
Much like Princess Kate, Harriet Sperling enters the royal family as a relatable everyday citizen. Mirroring the future queen, Harriet exudes a warmth and elegance that is bound to win over the public. An insider told HELLO! that Harriet was taking deep breaths in the car before getting out, calming her pre-wedding jitters in a very relatable moment.
Yet, it isn't just her charm and character that will captivate royal enthusiasts; her effortlessly chic sense of style is poised to make her a major fashion influence in her own right.
Princess Kate and Prince William arrive
Leading the glamorous arrivals, the Prince and Princess of Wales delighted onlookers with a stylish appearance. While the couple typically maintains a poised and professional demeanor during official engagements, the romantic setting clearly swept them up. They were seen trading lingering glances, sharing coy smiles, and gently placing hands on each other's backs.
Their joint appearance carried extra significance, considering William had missed his cousin's first wedding years earlier. Peter Phillips was the first of late Queen Elizabeth’s grandchildren to marry, tying the knot with Canadian management consultant Autumn Kelly on May 17, 2008 — five years after they first met at the Montreal Grand Prix.
While 300 guests gathered at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle - including Peter’s sister and bridesmaid Zara Tindall, and Prince Harry alongside his then-girlfriend Chelsy Davy - Kate attended the ceremony entirely on her own. Prince William was away in Kenya at the time, attending the wedding of his ex-girlfriend Jecca Craig's brother.
Kate looked typically resplendent, wearing a glorious tweed outfit by one of her favourite designers, Roland Mouret. The new design, which was made in a nude shade, featured a fringe-trimmed collar, faux button-fastening, a gentle V-neckline, padded shoulders, and also boasted inverted pleats through the skirt.
Here comes the bride!
Here is the first photo of the bride! Harriet Sperling looked divine in a white column dress with lace detailing on the bodice and a long train. Her dutiful bridesmaids Peter's daughters, Isla and Savannah Phillips, alongside her daughter Georgina, were the perfect little helpers as they helped her with her train.
The girls looked adorable in high-neck, white dresses with floral crowns completing the look. The girls were holding beautiful bouquets complete with splashes of blue.
Thirteen-year-old Georgina looked beautiful in her gown, which impeccably coordinated with her mother's bridal look and that of her new stepsisters. Her central role in the wedding highlighted the close-knit bond developing within this newly blended family. Standing proudly alongside 15-year-old Savannah and 14-year-old Isla, the teenagers presented a wonderful display of unity for their parents' milestone.
Being so close in age has undoubtedly helped the trio forge a strong connection over the past year. In fact, Savannah and Isla - whom Peter, 48, shares with his ex-wife Autumn Kelly - had already warmly welcomed Georgina into the royal fold earlier this spring during a highly publicised joint appearance at the royal family's Easter Mattins service at St George's Chapel.
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie arrive in style
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have arrived, accompanied by their respective husbands, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Jack Brooksbank. The York royals, whose disgraced parents Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson haven't been invited, joined forces for the all-important occasion, arriving side-by-side.
The appearance of the York sisters was highly anticipated, as both Beatrice and Eugenie have recently kept a low public profile. The duo has been focusing on their growing families while navigating the continuous media attention surrounding their parents.
Despite the complex family dynamics, Beatrice and Eugenie's presence proves the close bond shared by the late Queen Elizabeth II's grandchildren.
Wedding arrivals begin
Crowds and journalists have descended upon the Gloucestershire village of Kemble for the upcoming wedding of Peter Phillips, the son of the Princess Royal.
Security measures, including metal barriers and road closures, have been set up around All Saints Church in the village center, located roughly four miles south of Cirencester. Despite a rainy Saturday forecast, well-wishers braved alternating sunshine and showers at the security cordon, eager for a glimpse of the arriving royals.
The high-profile guest list for Mr. Phillips' marriage to NHS nurse Harriet Sperling is expected to include the King and Queen, the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, as well as Zara and Mike Tindall.
A source on the ground tells HELLO! that the drizzle isn't dampening anyone's spirits as guests begin arriving at the church. Bentley's entertainment are supplying white arrivals to shield guests from the rain.
Real reason Prince Harry isn't attending
The Duke of Sussex simply didn't make the guest list because the pair have "simply lost touch" over the years. An insider told us: "Peter and Harry haven’t spoken for several years and have simply lost touch, so he hasn’t been invited."
Our Senior Editor and Writer Jack Malvern has penned an opinion piece about why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's exclusion from the royal wedding is a bitter blow, offering insight into their strained relationship.
Meet Peter and Harriet's blended family - who are Isla, Savannah, and Georgina?
Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling's blended family is set to play an important role in their wedding today.
Princess Anne's son Peter, 47, is a father to teenagers Savannah, 15, and Isla, 14, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Autumn Kelly.
Meanwhile, Harriet is mum to Georgina, 13, shared with her ex-husband, Antonio St John Sperling. Georgina was completely out of the spotlight before her mother's relationship with royal Peter.

What is the itinerary for Peter and Harriet's wedding?
Peter Phillips' and Harriet Sperling's wedding is an intimate occasion at a quaint countryside church, meaning there are not the huge-scale public celebrations that we would usually associate with a royal wedding.
Harriet has openly spoken about her deep Christian faith, and the intimate service is likely to reflect that.
However, we're still expecting royal guests to be present, including the King and Queen, and likely the Prince and Princess of Wales, so it's still going to be a high-profile affair.
The couple will exchange vows at All Saints' Church in Kemble, Cirencester, before the reception, expected to take place at Princess Anne's Gatcombe Park estate, HELLO! understands.
While we don't have specific timings, we expect things could begin at any moment, and we'll bring the latest as soon as we have it.
This morning, the final preparations are underway at the church following last night's rehearsal, attended by the bride, groom, and Zara Tindall. Harriet and Peter's daughters were also in attendance.
We've seen urns being brought in, foliage lining the doorway, and giant gold candelabras being installed.
Today's weather forecast
It's set to be rather a rainy day in Kemble, Gloucestershire, but things should clear up as the evening approaches.
There's an 80% chance of rain this morning, according to the weather forecast on the Met Office's website.
But this is all good news for the happy couple - and they can comfort themselves with the saying that at least a "wet knot is harder to untie"!
And there wasn't any sign of rain last night as the bridal party arrived, so we've got our fingers crossed...

Charles' statement
Amid this wonderful wedding weekend, there has been heartbreak for the royal family, following the death of Lady Pamela Hicks.
Lady Pamela was King Charles' first cousin once removed, and she had a close bond with his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, serving as a bridesmaid at her wedding to Charles' father, Prince Philip, and as one of the former monarch's ladies-in-waiting.
In a statement, a Palace spokesperson said: "His Majesty was greatly saddened to learn of the death of Lady Pamela Hicks, a sorrow tempered by the fondest memories and deepest gratitude for her long life and loyal service to Queen Elizabeth."

Wedding bells - and a community effort
Tomorrow's wedding at All Saints Church in Kemble is a true community effort, rooted in the village Harriet once called home. As a devout Christian, the bride was a regular at the church, inspiring locals to enthusiastically rally around her for the special day.
The service will be led by the church's newly appointed vicar, who HELLO! understands has been affectionately dubbed 'DJ Steve' by locals following a hit performance at the village fete. Despite his short tenure, residents have already named him their youngest and most popular vicar to date.
It seems preparations for the high-profile event have required some adjustments, including moving an internal altar to accommodate the large guest list. Meanwhile, the wedding bells will be rung by a local husband-and-wife duo who have dedicated 50 years of service to All Saints Church.
Harriet pictured pre-wedding
Harriet Sperling was joined by her family members, including daughter Georgina, for a rehearsal at All Saints Church in Kemble. Looking lovely in a white maxi skirt and a cream knit with red stripe detailing, the bride-to-be beamed with delight as she gathered with her royal relatives outside the church.
Also pictured at the rehearsal was the groom's sister, Zara Tindall, as well as his daughters from his previous marriage, Isla and Savannah Phillips. The girls have formed a close bond with their stepsister Georgina over the past year.
Everything you need to know about Peter Phillips
Born on November 15, 1977, Peter Phillips is currently 19th in the line of succession, though he held the fifth spot at birth. As the first child of Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips, his arrival made Queen Elizabeth II a proud grandmother for the first time. In fact, the late monarch arrived late to a Buckingham Palace investiture that day, smiling as she apologized and announced that her daughter had just given birth to a son.
Named after his paternal grandfather, Peter was born at St. Mary's Hospital in London, with Princess Anne famously leaving the Lindo Wing just two days later. In a defining move, the Princess Royal chose not to give Peter or his younger sister, Zara Tindall, courtesy titles.
It is a decision Peter has since expressed deep gratitude for, noting that he will "forever be indebted" to his parents for allowing them to grow up with a normal life. Peter has also long been described as Queen Elizabeth's "favourite grandson."
Find out everything you need to know about him, including his job and his first marriage, in our deep dive into his private life.
Police presence
New images show a heightened police presence in the village of Kemble. According to our sources on the ground, there was a large number of officers surrounding All Saints Church this morning, undertaking last-minute checks to ensure the smooth running of the operation.
A drone was also spotted flying over the church, getting an eagle-eyed view of the church and its surroundings.
