Lady Louise Windsor made a rare appearance on Sunday as she joined her family, including King Charles and Queen Camilla, for a church service near Balmoral estate.
The family were seen arriving at Crathie Kirk in Aberdeenshire on Sunday morning in a fleet of cars, the first carrying the monarch, the second containing Prince William, Princess Kate and their three children.
Lady Louise followed behind in the car with her father, Prince Edward, and Princess Anne and her husband, Sir Tim Laurence, who were in the front of the vehicle.
The 22-year-old, who recently completed her studies at St Andrews University, was seen in a glamorous ensemble. Photos of the vehicle appear to show Louise wearing a baby pink coat. Her bright blonde hair, which closely resembles that of her mother, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, appeared to have been curled for the special Sunday event.
Prince Edward appeared to be in high spirits. The Queen's youngest child was seated at the back of the car alongside his daughter. He was wearing a navy blue suit and a yellow striped tie. He was perhaps sharing a joke with Princess Anne, who was also bearing a grin in the photo.
As the royals descended on the granite church, they were joined by troops from Balaklava Company, 5th Battalion Royal Regiment of Scotland, who provided a guard of honour to the family. Soldiers lined both sides of the leafy church driveway as a fleet of cars carrying the royal family members arrived in time for the morning service.
Lady Louise's private life
Despite being the Queen's "favourite grandchild", Louise prefers to stay out of the spotlight and is rarely seen outside of family events. She is a proud equestrian and has been spotted competing in carriage driving on many occasions.
Her boyfriend often joins Sophie at the events. Felix da Silva-Clamp met Prince Edward's daughter at university, and the pair appear to have been quietly enjoying a romance ever since.
She recently celebrated a major relationship milestone after Felix was featured on the Royal Family Instagram for the first time. He was photographed supporting his girlfriend when she accepted her Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
Sara Howe, a carriage driving trainer who has previously seen Louise competing, told HELLO! that Louise and her "lad" are "just lovely", adding that he is "always very supportive" while allowing the royal to get on with the competition.
