King Charles III, previously known as the Prince of Wales, has followed his mother Queen Elizabeth II as the monarch following her passing in September 2022. At the time, he said that his family “mourn profoundly” for the death of his mother. King Charles is perhaps best known for his passion for environmental issues, as well as his tumultuous marriage to Diana, Princess of Wales, with whom he shares two children, Prince William and Prince Harry. He is currently married to the Queen Consort, Duchess Camilla.
