Palace clears up mystery of Kate and Wills’ wedding

The recent rumour of royal wedding bells soon ringing for Kate Middleton and Prince William has been called “nonsense and speculation” by St James's Palace.

German aristocrat and distant relation to the British royal family, Prince Julius Eduard von Anhalt, the Duke of Saxony reported in a German magazine that Wills and Kate are already engaged and that the wedding is to be held next year.

Although claiming that he has been invited to the event, he didn't give the exact date saying that the information was confidential.

Royal sources firmly state that the rumour is not true, however.

“We have always made clear that there is no planning going on”, said one source.

While another, close to Prince William, explained, “This gentleman does not know what he is talking about”
