Brazilian bombshell Gisele Bundchen took a break from her supermodel duties to try out a whole new skill – throwing the ceremonial first pitch at a Boston Red Sox game.

"I just learned how to throw the ball," she confessed before taking to the mound at Boston's famed Fenway Park. "I hope I don't make a crazy mistake. I have no idea about baseball because I don't watch TV."

Wearing a Red Sox jersey emblazoned with her name on the back, the covergirl may have lacked technique, but she certainly looked flawless as she tossed the ball, as demonstrated by the appreciative cheers from the crowd.

And fans will get to see even more of Gisele in the near future, as she makes her feature film debut in Taxi. The statuesque beauty says she has no fear about making the risky transition from the catwalk to the big screen, despite the failure of some of her predecessors.

"I'm never concerned about what people think of me," she says, pointing to Cameron Diaz and Charlize Theron as model-actress success stories. "If it's good for me, I do it."
