Good Morning America's meteorologist Rob Marciano has broken his silence after it was revealed his wife, Eryn, has filed for divorce after 11 years of marriage.

The 54-year-old has been secretly battling heartbreak for over a year as it was revealed that Eryn filed the divorce paperwork with the Westchester, New York Supreme Court, in June 2021, according to court documents obtained by People, and an order for a trial was filed in May.

Opening up about his "difficult" situation, Rob confessed that he tried to "save the marriage".
"The last couple of years have been very difficult," Rob told People in a statement. "I didn't want this and tried to save the marriage, but we are sadly divorcing. My focus now is on my kids."

Rob and Eryn – who married in 2010 – share two children, ten-year-old daughter Madelynn and four-year-old son Mason.

The news of their divorce comes after they sold their family home in Rye, N.Y. for $2.7million earlier this month, according to public records obtained by People.
While their marriage may be over, the estranged couple appears to be successfully co-parenting their two children as they enjoyed a family vacation to Disney World in Orlando, Florida, in April, with Rob sharing some sweet family photos and videos on social media.

The relationship between Rob and Eryn also appears to have remained amicable as shortly after she filed for divorce, Eryn posted a sweet tribute to Rob in honor of Father's Day.

Rob – who works alongside GMA's chief meteorologist Ginger Zee – joined the ABC network in 2014 after several years working as a co-anchor for Entertainment Tonight.
