T.J. Holmes' marriage to attorney, Marilee Fiebig, came to an end last year as photos of him on vacation with his GMA3 co-host, Amy Robach, were made public.

The TV star wasted no time filing for divorce from the mother of his youngest child, Sabine, 10, and has continued his relationship with Amy - who has now divorced her husband, Andrew Shue

But this is not T.J.'s first divorce, and if his first was anything to go by, things could get messy.

T.J. was married to Amy Ferson. The year of their nuptials is not publicly known, but they split in 2006 just as T.J. got his first real career break as an anchor and correspondent at CNN. They divorced a year later.

According to legal papers obtained by The Sun, the judge ruled that the exes "not harass" one another.

Amy claimed there was no chance of a reconciliation and said their marriage was "irretrievably broken". It was an expensive divorce which cost T.J. upwards of $100,000.

Amy demanded substantial alimony support because she "earns insufficient funds for support," according to the documents.

They had no children together, but T.J. has two other children, Jaiden and Brianna, from previous relationships.

Both parties agreed as part of their divorce, that they would not do anything "threatening, injuring maltreating, vilifying, molesting or harassing the adverse party".

T.J. had to pay monthly alimony amounting to $2,000 for three years. Amy was awarded $25,000 of the $30,000 that remained in their bank account too

He paid the remainder of the lease on her BMW and provided her with health care for a number of years. T.J. is now going through his divorce from Marilee, who has remained mostly silent about the proceedings.

She was understandably unhappy about how T.J.'s romance with Amy came to light and has since released one statement through her lawyer, Stephanie Lehman, which read: "During the holiday season and in light of the challenging times, Marilee’s sole focus has remained on the overall best interest of her 9-year-old daughter [Sabine].

"To that end T.J.'s lawyer and I have been working together to move their divorce forward privately, expeditiously and as amicably as possible."

She added: "Notwithstanding, we continue to be disappointed by T.J.'s lack of discretion, respect and sensitivity toward Marilee and the party’s daughter.

"Marilee has been touched by the outpouring of support and looks forward to a new beginning in this new year."
