Hair, 1993

John played the role of Claude in the 25th Anniversary production of Hair, written by James Rado and Gerome Ragni.

Sunset Boulevard, 1994

In 1994 John was cast to play Joe Gillis opposite Betty Buckley as Norma Desmond in the lavish Andrew Lloyd Webber production, Sunset Boulevard, at the Adelphi Theatre.

A Few Good Men, 2005

In 2005 John appeared in Aaron Sorkin's military courtroom drama, A Few Good Men, opposite Rob Lowe and Suranne Jones.

Torchwood, 2006-2011

After becoming popular in just five episodes of Doctor Who in 2005, John and his character, Captain Jack, were given their own series, Torchwood, which ran until 2011.
