Personal touches don't have to cost the earth either, but can go a long way, such as handwritten cards adding extra value onto the gift.

"There are ways to make a gift creative. I think a lot of the gifts I provide have inherit messages in them but I also think it's about the cards that you write," she said.

"If you give somebody a pouch for example and say 'please fill this with all the beautiful things for your travels,' then that person will think of you when they are away and use it for that particular reason. I think the messaging and the packaging are just as important as the gift."

Jill predicts that this year, consumers will be looking for gifts that have added sentimental value, given the struggles everyone has faced during the pandemic.

It's clear that Jill is passionate about all the products she has picked for this year's Holiday Steals & Deals. Everyone from the beauty guru to the kids have been thought of, with viewers benefiting from seeing each item on screen, while hearing the story behind each gift.
