Hugh Grant
The Four Weddings and a Funeral star revealed he also had COVID-19 earlier this year.
On Nov. 10, Hugh, who stars in The Undoing with Nicole Kidman, told Stephen Colbert he took a test last month and discovered he and his wife, Anna Eberstein, both had COVID-19 antibodies in their blood.
He said he thinks they both likely had the illness in February based on the awful-sounding symptoms they were both having.
"It started as just a very strange syndrome where I kept breaking into a terrible sweat," he said. "It was like a poncho of sweat – embarrassing, really.
"Then my eyeballs felt about three sizes too big and this feeling as though some enormous man was sitting on my chest...
"I thought, 'I don't know what this is,' and then I was walking down the street one day and I thought, 'I can't smell a damn thing,' and you start to panic."
Hugh said that made him freak out, as it would most people and he started smelling everything he could just to see if scents would register in his nose.
"You get more and more desperate – I started sniffing in garbage cans," he hilariously said. "You know, you want to sniff strangers' armpits because you just can't smell anything.
"I eventually went home and sprayed my wife's Chanel No. 5 directly into my face. Couldn't smell a thing, but I did go blind!"
He said they're both feeling much better now and we're glad, for multiple reasons.
