George Clarke is a familiar face on Channel 4 and while we've seen the architect in several stunning properties, he has kept his own personal life out of the spotlight.
The presenter and architect has three children and has been married twice. It's clear that the presenter is close to his children, even though he often keeps their faces off social media. He once confessed to not "caring" about their exam results, so long as they were "working hard".
Here's all you need to know about the star's life away from the screens.
First wife Catriona
George, 51, was married to ex-wife Catriona for a number of years, with the pair first meeting when George carried out works for her brother. The pair called it quits in 2013, with the marriage reportedly breaking down due to their busy work schedules.
In a statement released at the time, George explained: "We have been married quite a long time and decided to part. We have separate custody of the kids and are going through an amicable separation and divorce."
Second wife Katie
George married his second wife, Katie, in September 2018 in a romantic ceremony in Ibiza. Katie works as a marketing and communications consultant in the luxury fashion industry and the former couple resided with George's children in their West London home.
However, in February 2022, it was reported by the Sun that George and Katie had separated. Although the reasons behind the split are not known, sources told the publication that the relationship was over.
Current relationship
Following the end of his marriage to Katie, George started dating opera singer Florence Hvorostovsky. Florence had previously been married to Russian baritone Dmitri Hvorostovsky, who sadly died in 2017 following a brain tumour diagnosis. Florence and Dmitri welcomed two children, Nina and Maxim, during their relationship.
Musing on love, George joked to the Big Issue: "On relationships, I'm probably not the best person to talk to because I've been divorced twice. So it's not easy."
Children
While married to Catriona, the TV star welcomed three children: Georgie, Emilio and Iona. George is keen for his children to follow in his footsteps, and he said on Lorraine: "I've almost thrown them in at the deep end to be honest with you. I think the sooner you get your kids building and doing stuff, the better.
"I think the sooner you teach them the safer it is, getting them to learn how [to] use tools in a really safe way and hammers and power tools and stuff like that, the earlier they start the better. And they got to work on the garden shed which was fantastic."
Surprisingly, George's role as a father nearly prevented him from pursuing a career in television. Speaking with the Guardian, the Channel 4 favourite recalled that he'd had his doubts at first, considering that he had just welcomed his first child. "When my agent called to say I'd got the job, I had to think about it," he explained.
"I'd just had my first son; my architectural practice was unbelievably busy; I used to go to Newcastle from London every Friday morning to teach students. I didn't want to be on TV. But as it was just a small job I decided to do it, and take it slow."
Despite his fame, George has confessed that his children don't eatch their father when he's on TV. Speaking on the Netmums podcast, he joked: "They don't watch. Like nothing at all. I was on TV when they were born. So for them, weirdly, they thought everybody's dad was on TV. Genuinely. They thought: 'That's what dads do. Dads make telly'."
The star's family life still takes centre stage in his life, as he sweetly confessed: "Even though I get invited to red-carpet events – and I'm sure they're really nice – I don't go to them. I'm just not that bothered. I'd prefer to be at home with my kids and my girlfriend."
