This month, the fashion set moved seamlessly between fragrance-fuelled dreamscapes, high-stakes matches at Guards Polo Club, and Soho townhouse takeovers complete with surprise rap cameos. There were book launches that felt like runway shows, heritage houses reminding us why they’ve endured, and parties that managed to feel both buzzy and beautifully intimate.
Whether it was an Italian love letter to design or Stormzy throwing the kind of house party you wish you’d RSVP’d to sooner, June’s event circuit delivered the full spectrum: iconic, immersive, and very well-dressed. Cult Gaia's Holy Feast
A feast for the eyes (and the feed). In true Gaia fashion, glamour was on the menu as founder Jasmin Larian Hekmat hosted an intimate dinner at The Holy Carrot in Notting Hill to toast Cult Gaia’s latest collection. Against a backdrop of candlelit serenity, editors, creatives and cool girls including the likes of Parisa and Georgia Medley gathered for a vegan feast that was as photogenic as it was flavourful.
Jasmin gave a heartfelt speech celebrating the power of beauty - and those who create it - within the fashion world, adding soul to the soirée. With imagery captured by Mooez, the evening felt like a love letter to conscious glamour: fashion with meaning, dining with intention, and a guest list that knows how to dress for both.
Sloane Ranger Garden Gathering
Saturday 7th June saw the Chelsea set descend on Cadogan Place Gardens for a balmy afternoon of champagne, culture, and canapés as the Sloane Street Garden Party marked the official unveiling of the street’s £46 million transformation. Now a lush 1km boulevard stretching from Knightsbridge, Sloane Street has never looked more walkable - or wonderful.
Guests including Sabrina Percy and Jemima Cadbury Tollemache mingled over garden games from L’Objet, Burberry-branded ice cream and perfectly poured cocktails from The Cadogan Hotel’s bar. Live performances by the English National Ballet School and a surprise bubbleologist brought whimsy; Chelsea’s answer to a midsummer dream.
Temily Takes London
London’s fashion set gathered on June 16 for an exclusive dinner at The Dover, hosted by Rae Temily to celebrate the launch of TEMILY’s debut womenswear collection. The New York - based label fuses next-gen tech with artisanal craft - a future-forward fashion house unconstrained by geography and bursting with intention.
Guests including H! Fashion cover girl Amy Jackson and red carpet power-stylist Olivia Buckingham toasted the collection over candlelight and conversation. Olivia, a longtime friend and now Creative Director of the brand, recalled their serendipitous Valentine's toast at the Hotel Chelsea - the moment Rae first floated the idea. “Her passion will definitely be her success,” said Olivia. Already a Moda Operandi sellout, TEMILY has officially landed - and this was the chicest of lift-offs.
Sexy Fish's 10th Anniversary Party
On Tuesday, 26 June, Mayfair's iconic bar and restaurant Sexy Fish hosted a star-studded party in honour of its 10th birthday. VIP guests, including The Flag Twins, Leonora Smee and Sugababes stars Mutya Buena and Keisha Buchanan, gathered at the venue in Berkeley Square for a dazzling celebration.
Attendees sipped on drinks from the brand's new X cocktail menu, which reimagines Sexy Fish classics from its beginnings in 2015 through to 2025. Delightful Japanese-inspired small plates were also on the cards, along with DJ sets and live dancers and drummers.
Chanel's 100 Years In The UK
On Tuesday 17 June, Chanel celebrated its enduring love affair with the United Kingdom in true style, hosting an elegant centenary dinner for one hundred editors, VIPs and friends of the House at the newly opened V&A East Storehouse. The event honoured Gabrielle Chanel’s deep-rooted ties to Britain, from her iconic tweeds to her long-standing relationship with the English National Ballet, with a one-night-only performance of Le Train Bleu, reimagined for a modern stage.
The ballet, originally costumed by Mademoiselle Chanel herself in 1924, was brought back to life by English National Ballet’s Stina Quagebeur, set against the original Picasso backdrop, now the largest in the world and on permanent display thanks to Chanel's conservation support. With heritage woven into every detail, the night was both a love letter to British style and a reaffirmation of the maison's creative future in the UK. As Gabrielle herself once said: "I have always succeeded with the English. I don’t know why." After 100 years, the feeling is clearly mutual.
Zimmermann Mykonos Launch
The island of Mykonos got a dose of antipodean chic as sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann hosted a sun-drenched, star-studded celebration for the launch of their new boutique on the Greek island. The three-day affair blended effortless Zimmermann elegance with hedonistic holiday vibes - think: golden hour dinners, crystal-clear seas, and DJs spinning under the stars.
The guest list read like a who's who of fashion and film, with Olivia Wilde, Emma Roberts, Lady Kitty Spencer and Laura Harrier all jetting in for the festivities. Storm Reid, Nathalie Emmanuel and Saffron Hocking joined the international crew, as did Zimmermann muses from Australia including Abbey Lee and Yerin Ha. With sets by Isan Elba and Mimi Xu, and tables adorned in lemons and lace, it was the kind of weekend that made you want to pack your bags and live in broderie anglaise forever. Rhe perfect collision of bohemia and big-screen glamour, set against the cerulean blues of the Cyclades.
Cartier Queen’s Cup 2025
Horses, high stakes and heirloom jewellery: Cartier's polo season sparkle returned in style. As Park Place galloped to a one-point victory, the Cartier Queen’s Cup reminded everyone why it’s the chicest sporting event of the season.
Guests gathered on Smith’s Lawn at Guards Polo Club, where Cartier’s hospitality was - as always - flawless. Lunch flowed into Champagne toasts as Hilario Ulloa of Park Place claimed MVP, with Why Not I’m Easy (yes, that’s her name) taking Best Pony honours. With a guestlist including Hayley Atwell, Jessica Plummer and Lennon Gallagher it was fashion meets horsepower in the most elegant of collisions.
Tod’s 'Italian Hands' Celebration
Tod’s celebrated the soul of Italian elegance with an intimate evening dedicated to its iconic Gommino shoe and the artisans who bring it to life. Guests mingled in the refined surrounds of the brand’s Old Bond Street boutique, where cocktails and copies of Italian Hands (the newly released coffee table tome) offered both inspiration and aperitivo.
True to form, the night blended impeccable tailoring with real passion - for craft, legacy, and la dolce vita. Proof that when it comes to heritage, Tod’s walks the walk. Style insiders, artisans, editors, and friends of the brand all celebrated the art of Italian excellence.
House Party's One-Year Anniversary
Stormzy blew out the candles - literally - on the first birthday of House Party, the seven-floor nightlife concept that’s rewritten the rulebook on going out in Soho. Guests from Jourdan Dunn to Francis Bourgeois partied their way through the Poland Street townhouse, where each room told a different story. With surprise sets, cold pizza, and that elusive “night in” energy, the bash marked a year of Soho’s least predictable party spot.
"We just wanted to throw parties like we used to," said Stormzy. Judging by the queue of A-listers climbing every floor, he’s more than succeeded. Next stop? World domination.
