David Prowse, the actor who played Darth Vader in the original Star Wars films, is in remission from prostate cancer, he has confirmed.
The 74-year-old - who was diagnosed with the disease a year ago - says he was given the all clear last month.
"I've won the fight and I'm feeling better than ever. Everyone was shocked by how well it all went," he said.
The actor is now urging other men over 50 to get tested for the disease.
"I've had people saying I've saved their lives," he says.
