Amy Winehouse might have struggled with her own addictions, but she is determined to keep her god-daughter Dionne Bromfield on the straight and narrow.
Not only is the Back to Black star championing the 13-year-old singer's career – she signed her up to her Lioness record label - but she is also offering Dionne guidance as she enters the music industry.
"Amy tells me to stay on the right path all the time," Dionne - whose debut album was released this week - told the Sun.
"I wish she could have as well - but what she wants is right for me. And I also know what's right from wrong."
The pair, who appeared together on Strictly Come Dancing, were spotted out together shopping this week.
And all eyes were on the 26-year-old soul singer who stepped out in a pink shirt with the words 'Blake's Girl' embroidered over her left pocket.
Her wardrobe choice has sparked reports she is still in touch with her ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil – a fact confirmed by his mother last month who said the couple speak on the phone every day.
