'I'm still single,' says Twilight idol Robert Pattinson

British actor Robert Pattinson has denied reports that he is dating co-star Kristen Stewart, insisting he is single.

Speculation of a romance between the on-screen lovers was further fuelled at the weekend when the handsome actor and Kristen, 19, were pictured together at a concert in Vancouver, looking "extremely close" to each other.

"I don't have a girlfriend. I don't know why. You always think you're going to get more girls after you've made a movie and it never happens," says Robert - who was recently named 'sexiest man in the world'.

"You sit there and you're like 'I'm a big movie star and I want to go out with some models' but I don't know why that doesn't happen."

And it seems the 23-year-old is still deciding who would be his first choice to date.

"I don't really have a type. Whenever I get asked who my favourite celebrity crush is, I have no idea," he says in an interview with a British newspaper.
