Pamela Anderson trademark blonde locks appear to be at the “root” of her not being a cast member of the latest television smash hit Desperate Housewives. The Canadian-born actress was offered the lead role in the series, but turned it down after producers asked her to dye her hair brown.
“Blonde is my trademark so I said no,” explained the 37-year-old former Baywatch star. “Now I could kick myself as the show is simply great. I am hoping to persuade them to give me a guest star role.”
Pam could have starred as Susan Mayer – the divorcee and single mother, struggling to find love with the perfect man. The part eventually went to former Lois And Clark star Terri Hatcher. The programme has become the biggest hit since Sex And The City and has won Terri a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress.
