After a respite from the spotlight following her recent break-up with movie star Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez has returned centre stage, turning out to support her reported new beau – Latin singer Marc Anthony – at his latest movie premiere.
Looking glam but coy in a nude-toned dress and high heels, Jennifer joined Marc and his fellow Man On Fire stars Denzel Washington and Christopher Walken at the film's debut. But Jen, who was romantically linked to the singer-turned-actor five years ago, arrived alone on the red carpet, leaving her on-off beau to soak up the limelight with his co-stars.
It has been Marc, however, who has been on the sidelines of late, hanging out backstage as Jen recorded an interview for American cinema programme Inside The Actors Studio and watching from the wings as she taped guest appearance for Will And Grace. After the latter engagement, the two were spotted holding hands at a Hollywood restaurant.
The rumoured romance isn't without a bit of controversy, however. In March, 34-year-old Marc quashed rumours that his rediscovered friendship was behind his split with his wife, former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres. The mother-of-two filed for divorce early this year, just as J Lo broke up with Ben.
"The fact that Jennifer Lopez has been unjustly dragged into this is wrong," said Marc. "In no way, shape or form did she have anything to do with the rupture of my marriage. I want to make that 100 per cent clear." |
