Catherine O'Hara passed away on January 30 following a short illness, leaving behind her beloved family.
The Schitt's Creek actress was last seen in public in September, when she stepped out to attend the 2025 Emmy Awards in Los Angeles alongside her husband, Bo Welch.
Catherine and Bo looked as in love as ever as they posed for photos on the red carpet, with Bo wrapping his arm around the star's waist.
Catherine - whose Apple TV show, The Studio, won 13 awards - looked stylish dressed in a statement black dress, while Bo looked smart in a tuxedo.
The actress had been nominated for an award herself, for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her performance as Patty Leigh.
The couple attended not only the ceremony, but the after-party too.
While Catherine was at the Emmy Awards, her absence was felt at the Golden Globes on January 11. Catherine met Bo in 1987 on the set of the film Beetlejuice.
In 2024, Catherine spoke to People about her marriage in one of her final interviews. "He talked to me all the time," she said.
"We'd hang out on the set, and we'd have some laughs. I thought, 'He's going to ask me out.'"
She admitted she was confused when Bo didn't ask her out, and asked Beetlejuice director Tim Burton what he thought. "Let me see what I can do," he said, and the rest was history!
They got married five years later in 1992, before welcoming oldest son Matthew in 1994, followed by Luke in 1997. The couple's children kept largely out of the spotlight, but have both followed in their parents' footsteps in the entertainment industry - working in roles behind the scenes.
Catherine's career spanned over 50 decades and she had a huge fan base around the world. It all began in the seventies when starring in Second City Television.
Notable roles have included Beetlejuice in 1988, Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York in 1990 and 1992, and Schitt's Creek from 2015-2020. She also appeared in four of Christopher Guest's films, Best in Show, For Your Consideration, Waiting for Guffman, and A Mighty Wind.
During her career, Catherine took home two Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
