Ben Miller is back on our screens as he brings the delightful Austin to BBC1, starring alongside Sally Phillips, Billie Piper and Michael Theo.
While we know Ben, 59, for his various TV roles in Death in Paradise, Professor T and Bridgerton, what about his life off-screen? Keep reading for all we know about his family life, including his famous ex-wife and his home in the countryside.
Wife and children
When he's not busy filming for his latest TV role, Ben can be found at home in the Cotswolds with his family. The actor is married to film producer Jessica Parker, who is the daughter of Alan Parker, a musician perhaps best known for his work on music for film and TV shows.
The couple got hitched in 2013 and have been happily married ever since. They welcomed their first son Harrison in 2011, and a daughter named Lana in 2015.
Speaking to the Independent about his reasoning behind leaving Death in Paradise, he explained: "When I started the first series, Jess discovered she was pregnant and then Harrison was born in-between series one and two and it was just too much. But that was the only thing I've ever quit, not for artistic reasons. We had a three-month-old baby and I was on the other side of the world for seven months, which was a lot for us to deal with."
Before Lana was born, the family relocated from London to Cirencester. Opening up about swapping the city for the countryside, Ben told The Telegraph: "We needed more room because our son, Harrison, who was three, was bouncing off the walls. I mean literally bouncing off the walls."
Home
Ben has described the inside of his family home as "fabulous", with a sitting room that "feels very Hollywood Regency".
"My wife has filled it with those weird gold pineapples they had in Hollywood in the 1920s," he revealed. "We also have a ridiculous music room with stuffed animals and a record player. I was probably missing Soho House too much."
Ben's famous first wife
Before he met Jessica, Ben was married to actress Belinda Stewart-Wilson. Belinda will be a familiar face to TV fans thanks to her role as Polly McKenzie in the hugely popular sitcom The Inbetweeners.
She's also starred in Stay Close, Sick Note, and alongside Ben in Primeval. The former couple tied the knot in 2004 before welcoming a son named Sonny in 2006. They divorced five years later in 2011.
Speaking about his relationship with Belinda after their split, Ben told The Guardian in 2010: "My wife and I have been separated for a while but we have an arrangement where Sonny spends half the time with me and half the time with her.
"I very much wanted the perfect nuclear family, and I came from the perfect nuclear family, but like so many people that isn't the way things have worked out. I'm very lucky in that Belinda and I are good friends.
