Sharon Osbourne, 73, has opened up to longtime friend Piers Morgan about the death of her husband Ozzy in a new raw interview on his YouTube show Uncensored. In the heartbreaking chat, she revealed Ozzy’s final words to her on the day he died were: "Kiss me. Hug me tight," and she also spoke about his secret health battle that "destroyed" him.
Not only is Sharon facing her first Christmas without her husband, but there could also be further bad news on the horizon. Earlier this year, Sharon and Ozzy finally made their relocation back home to the UK from the US and moved into their Buckinghamshire property.
The whole mansion was renovated to accommodate Ozzy's Parkinson's disease, including a rehab wing and a nurse's flat. These substantial modifications are sadly no longer required. The Parkinson's UK charity website explains that adaptability changes may include making sure there is a ground-floor wet room and also having living aids like a special bath seat and grab rails.
The property is where Ozzy passed away in July, so Sharon may want to part ways with the house due to the painful memories. According to Rightmove, houses in the Jordans area, which is where the home is, are "1 per cent up on the previous year" but "14 per cent down on the 2022 peak of £1,848,125". Plus, given that Sharon has made very specific modifications to the home, this could make it harder to shift.
Where will Sharon be spending her first Christmas without Ozzy?
Sharon's first Christmas without her husband is bound to be an emotional time for the former The Talk presenter. With properties both in the US and the UK, Sharon will have a choice about where she spends the festive season. Her children (Aimee, Kelly and Jack) and grandchildren (Pearl, Andy, Minnie, Maple and Sidney) are based in America so it is likely she will strive to be with them. They are a very close family and Sharon has said she has been "carried through" by those around her.
Sharon's Hancock Park home
The status of Sharon's Hancock Park in Los Angeles still hangs in the balance. Ahead of their UK move, it was listed for sale, because after living in the City of Angels for over 20 years, the couple wanted to move back "home". However, it is unclear if the house, which was listed for an eye-watering $18 million, ever sold. According to Variety, the family bought the sprawling property for $12 million, and it has an impressive 9,000 square feet of space.
The iconic exterior of the Spanish Colonial home featured a huge lunette entranceway, and the lawns outside were the perfect place for their pet dogs to roam free. The property featured heavily on Sharon's Instagram, including her bedroom and home gym. Despite it being a multimillion-dollar property, what was clear from the images is that it was a very lived-in, well-loved home.
