Born Zara Anne Elizabeth Phillips, Zara is the daughter of The Princess Royal and her first husband Captain Mark Phillips. She and her older brother, Peter Phillips, are grandchildren of the late Queen Elizabeth II. Zara is a British equestrian and Olympian, and received an MBE in 2007 for services to equestrianism.
She met rugby player Mike Tindall in 2003 and went on to marry the now-retired sports star in 2011 in Edinburgh, Scotland. The couple share daughters Mia Grace Tindall and Lena Elizabeth Tindall, and son Lucas Philip Tindall. They live on Princess Anne's Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire.
