Jo Wood petitions Gordon Brown over sweatshops

Ronnie Wood's former wife Jo Wood paid a visit to Gordon Brown on Tuesday to raise awareness of a campaign against sweatshop fashion.

Accompanied by school pupils, the Strictly star handed over a giant T-shirt featuring images of some of the 16,000 people behind the venture.

Jo was shocked by workers' hardship when she visited Bangladesh with fair trade fashion company - and backer of the petition - People Tree.

The Love Fashion Hate Sweatshops campaign is calling on the government to stop retailers exploiting overseas workers in developing countries.
