Alex Jones took to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal that she'd paid a visit to the hairdresser, showing off her immaculate new locks later on in the day when she presented The One Show.

Firstly, the Welsh presenter posted a photo of herself sitting in a salon chair, writing: "Autumnal hair incoming."
Hours later, the mother-of-two could be seen sitting on the famous green sofa with blonder hair that had been beautifully styled into sleek waves.

Alex also revealed that her chic new look was the handy work of celebrity hair stylist Lewis Pallett, and it's safe to say that the talented hairdresser worked some serious magic!

The last time the 43-year-old underwent such a big change in the hair department was in July, when she returned to her One Show hosting duties following a summer break with noticeably lighter locks.
While the doting mum normally sports a long bob with a small side-fringe and a caramel colour, she showed off a shorter style and blonde balayage colour, much to her fans' delight.
Even Michael Ball – Alex's co-host at the time – couldn't resist pointing out how much she suited the lighter colour.
After Alex said she had enjoyed having Michael as her "wingman" for the week, he responded: "It has been and I love your new hair."

But the past few months haven’t all been smooth sailing for Alex and her beautiful tresses.
In June, Alex admitted that she'd suffered something of a DIY disaster after cutting her fringe a little too short!
In a video shared on social media, the BBC star could be heard saying: "This needs cutting. I've got hair scissors and I'm just going to go for it. I just hate this gap here, so I'm just going to go for it."
But as she got cutting, she admitted she had doubts. "Oh no it looks weird already, no, no! Oh god, I'm just going to have to carry on," she said.
