The only thing we’ve been able to talk about since the 20th of March is spring, because its finally an excuse to give our wardrobes a makeover with a warm weather-appropriate sartorial agenda in mind. Despite this, it’s also important to note that April marks Earth month.

If there’s one stylish royal we can count on to style-up sustainable clothing and put independent brands on our radar, it’s Lady Amelia Windsor. The cousin of Prince Harry and Prince William never strays too far from her eco-conscious agenda, and her latest pair of jeans are perfect for spring dressing.

From recognised sustainable labels like Reformation, to brands with 2000 Instagram followers, Amelia is always providing outfit inspo whilst championing planet-friendly fashion.

The green-fingered socialite uploaded a photo to her Instagram story that was so spring-y we could almost smell the air through the screen. Peacefully sat outdoors with her feet up on a bench, Amelia snapped a shot of her khaki garden boots paired with the coolest patterned jeans from sustainable label Fanfare.

The high waisted ‘Melt Patch’ mom jeans are the perfect light wash denim for the sunny season, whilst the asymmetrical pattern on each leg will add interest to any spring fit. Statement jeans are the ultimate addition to your wardrobe for those days when an 'easy' outfit is on the cards. Pair with a crisp white tee tucked in and trainers or heeled sandals (or some ballet flats from Lady Amelia's stunning new collaboration), some gold jewellery and your favourite sunglasses et voila.

The label, who currently have 10k Instagram followers explained the jeans are made from deadstock fabric and old curtains that they collected from charity shops and textile waste plants. The pattern represents sap released from trees and is inspired by “nature taking its own path, creating natural formations and taking over the land it touches”.

Who is Fanfare?

Founder Esther Knight launched the brand in 2018 after working as a buyer in the fashion industry for over 10 years. The label boasts three categories for its pieces that are handcrafted in London: an upcycled collection, a vintage collection and a slow fashion collection. From cargo pants to statement jeans, recycled cashmere jumpers and brushed cotton shirts, the label is a hub of timeless pieces that can be adapted for a plethora of looks.
