Styling advice: Irons can bring life to layers

25 NOVEMBER 2008

Straightening layered hair can flatten sections so they blend into the rest of hair and lose the bounce and separation they're cut in to create. So rather than slide irons straight down the hair, separate the layers, then pull them out from the scalp and curve the straighteners as you get to the end so they sit on top of longer under-sections.
