New year, same faces stepping out to attend the chicest parties in London.

This month may bring Paris Couture Week, but we'd argue the glitz, glamour and VIP guest lists are just as spectacular on home turf (well, almost).

Here's what the fashion set has been up to this January 2024, and who was "on the Guest List" at the most fabulous soirées...

Mejuri x Selfridges Dinner

Mejuri's founder Noura Sakkijha hosted a star-studded dinner to celebrate the jewellery brand's pop-up inside Selfridges. And it was only fitting that a cool girl-approved label invited some of the most coveted actors and It-girls of the moment. The Crown's Meg Bellamy stunned in Princess of Wales-approved tailoring paired with the brand's Rolo Chain Charm Necklace, Diamond Letter Pendant, Charlotte Ring and Dome Ring. Ambika the protagonist in the upcoming Netflix series One Day oozed chic in a draped ivory cap-sleeved dress. She accessorised with Mejuri's Pavé Diamond Pearl Huggies and Pavé Diamond Small Hoops. while Queen Charlotte star India wore a 90s supermodel-esque embellished slip dress paired with Pavé Diamond Large Hoops, Multi Station Diamond Necklace and the Rolo Chain Charm Bracelet.

EE BAFTA Rising Star Party

A host of talented actors and special guests stepped out at the Pavyllon London for the annual EE BAFTA Rising Star Party ahead of the BAFTAS on February 18. Ed and his now-fiancée Amy Jackson attended in sophisticated all-black ensembles. Suki Waterhouse's stylish sister Immy stunned in the coolest layered Miu Miu outfit paired with diamante heels. Vick Hope nailed 'quiet luxury' chic in an all-white two-piece: the fashion set's go-to styling hack this season.

Christopher Kane's Burns Night Celebrations

January 25 was Burns Night, and we can always rely on designer Christopher Kane to celebrate his Scottish roots with a star-studded party in London.

This year he held a soiree at The London Edition and naturally, tartan clothing in all forms was aplenty. Alexa Chung however decided to stick to her signature 'It'girl style agenda and opted for a slinky lace-trimmed satin top tucked into a fitted skirt. She rounded the look off with a subtle red lip and grey court heels. Clara Amfo schooled us in styling the three-piece suit with high-waisted trousers, a cropped waistcoat and a matching jacket thrown over her shoulders. Abbey Clancey's look emulated Alexa's with a black high-waisted tube skirt. She opted to pair hers with a fitted high-neck bodycon top.

H&M x Raye

Raye has become the latest fashion icon to collaborate with high street brand H&M on a new activewear collection for its H&M Move range. "This January, RAYE will be joining forces with H&M Move to introduce the new-season collection, seamlessly bridging the worlds of sports and fashion through the power of music," the brand explains on its website, "Her partnership with H&M Move perfectly aligns with the brand’s mission, to get the whole world and everybody moving."

In typical pop star fashion, the partnership was celebrated with a launch party with an exclusive live performance by Raye at Village Underground in East London. Amongst the plethora of cool-girls in attendance was Mia Regan - the model, Gen-Z fashion muse and girlfriend of Romeo Beckham, who has a penchant for putting a Gen Z twist on her outfits. Case in point, she styled up loungewear pieces (apt for such an event) and showed us how to wear our indoor clothes for a party. The 20-year-old stepped out in a sports bra with a grey hooded jacket left open and a pair of navy cuffed jogging bottoms that were giving 90s Beckham. Taking it from 'Sunday hangover-wear' to 'launch party cool', she paired the ensemble with black biker boots and layered her hoodie with a leather jacket. She finished the look off with the coolest denim shoulder bag. Raye styled up her sportswear by pairing her grey unitard with silver barely there heels, whilst former Hello! Fashion cover girl Leomie Anderson opted for silver high-top trainers. A fashion party where the dress code in a tracksuit? Yes please...
