If Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock were looking to top their nautical nuptials on the French Riviera, then a surprise wedding at a club in Nashville was the way to go. Clients at Tootsies Orchid Lounge were astonished to find themselves witnessing the third exchange of vows by the exuberant couple in as many weeks.
The latest wedding, just after midnight on Thursday morning, follows a quiet ceremony at a Beverly House courthouse on August 3, four days after their St Tropez celebrations.
A singer at the landmark country music venue Tootsies announced: "You guys aren't going to believe what we have next - Kid Rock and Pam are going to get married on stage and we're not even kidding." "The place went crazy", said a source.
Davidson County Judge John Brown did the honours, marrying the Canadian covergirl and her rapper love, who were both in white. Pamela - who wore a bikini and sailor's cap for much of her big day in France - had chosen a Juicy Couture dress, while the groom wore a tank top.
When Kid, whose real name is Bob Ritchie, was asked to take Pamela as his wife he responded: "Hell yes!". His bride raised a laugh when she replied: "Unfortunately yes!"
The blonde bombshell later announced the news to fans on her website, writing: "Got married in Nashville. Tootsies on stage. In front of the coolest crowd. Bobby sang Sweet Home Alabama - The fun won't stop. Thanks Judge Brown. Marriage Number three, Nashville - Done."
The couple's fourth wedding is planned to take place in Detroit.
