British heart-throb Orlando Bloom has been making some furry friends on the set of his latest movie. The 27-year-old and his girlfriend Kate Bosworth adopted two puppies that were found abandoned on the Moroccan set of Kingdom Of Heaven.
The happy couple were photographed taking their four-legged friends for a walk during a break in filming. And the chisel-jawed actor likewise got plenty of exercise, as he practised for the flick's swashbuckling sword-fighting scenes. Dressed in a casual t-shirt and sweat pants, the handsome star showed off some of the fencing skills that helped make him famous in Pirates Of The Caribbean.
In the new movie Orlando plays a blacksmith in 12th-century Jerusalem who rises to protect his people from foreign invaders. The film, which is being directed by Gladiator's Ridley Scott, promises to be one of biggest blockbusters of next year.
Kate also looks set to make quite an impression of the box office, by starring opposite Kevin Spacey in the Bobby Darin biopic Beyond The Sea. The Californian star, who has been dating Orlando for nearly two years, is also appearing with Richard Gere in the family drama Bee Season.
Kingdom Of Heaven is due to arrive in cinemas in May 2005. |
