A taste of the cowboy life with bucking broncos and lassos
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have hit Canada’s Wild West for a royal rodeo on their tour of North America.
They arrived at what locals bill “The Greatest Outdoor Show On Earth”, amid screaming fans who were desperate to catch a glimpse of the couple, and sat down to enjoy the bull-based action.
Earlier in the day, before setting off for the Calgary Stampede, William and Kate met a young cancer sufferer.
Overcome with emotion at meeting the Duchess, six-year-old Diamond Marshall ran across the tarmac into the brunette’s arms, before becoming shy and running back to her mum.
