Heart-warming videos of a pensioner with Alzheimer's have gone viral – after he and his son took part in their own version of Carpool Karaoke. Former Butlin's redcoat Tim McDermott became an internet sensation when a clip of son Simon driving him around hit the internet in May, and it's easy to see why!
Tim McDermott and his son Simon have gone viral for their amazing videos
In the video, doting son Simon sings along to Quando, Quando, Quando with his dad as they drive around Blackburn, and they've since covered hits including Lonely is a Man Without Love and Volaré. Tim, 79, was a pub and club entertainer before being diagnosed with the disease in 2013.
They're now using their internet fame to raise money for Alzheimer's Society, and Simon revealed that, although Tim has deteriorated over the last few years, as soon as they get him singing it's like he's "back in the room".

Simon recently appeared on Good Morning Britain to discuss his father, and explained: "Dad gets confused. He's starting to forget who I am, and my mum, as well. But since he's been doing the music again he's a lot happier and he's enjoying life a lot more.
"Before he was quite angry, never aggressive, but now he's a lot lighter and there's a different atmosphere at home."
But Simon revealed singing helps Tim to remember
Tim and Simon have so far raised more than £67,000 for their chosen charity and they're not done yet.
Writing on their Just Giving page, Simon said: "The plan is to share as much of Dad's singing as we can and hopefully it will help raise money to fund the world of the Alzheimer's Society – more specifically to go towards paying for a person at the end of the phone line to help other people like us."
