She affectionately refers to her fans as "little monsters", and now Lady Gaga has cemented the nickname with a new tattoo.

Fresh from her success at Sunday's Grammy Awards, the quirky singer has paid homage to her supporters with a new etching on her arm.

"Look what I did last night. little monsters forever, on the arm that holds my mic," she posted on her Twitter page.

The US star is always very quick to thank her millions of fans for her praise.

After winning two awards on Sunday, she tweeted: "We won big tonight little monsters,I am so proud to make music 4 you.I hope I continue to inspire u the way u inspire me.You're everything."
