Elton John and partner reveal names son will call them

Elton John and David Furnish (pictured with David's goddaughter) have revealed the names they want their new son to call them.

Speaking to the Sunday Times magazine following Zachary's birth via surrogacy, David said: "Elton is going to be Daddy and I will be Papa."

The proud new father also spoke about the unanticipated early birth of their son.

"Our doctor told us not to worry and went on holiday and then the contractions started on the 24th and we rushed to the hospital."

And the couple are keen not to spoil their child, despite Sir Elton’s estimated £185 million fortune.

“We don’t want him to have a sense of entitlement,” says David.
