Pop-star turned fashion icon Victoria Beckham had a very special helper on her latest assignment as an ambassador for Save the Children.

As she spent two days with youngsters in schools in Clay County, Kentucky – one of America's poorest states – the mum-of-three was accompanied by her eldest son Brooklyn.

And the candid photo diary of the mother and son's experiences – along with captions Victoria wrote herself - has been exclusively released to HELLO!

In this week's magazine, issue number 1099, check out photos of a very different Victoria from her red carpet persona – dressed down in the midst of the children, giving a dance class and joining in during story time.

And Brooklyn did his part too – showing off the soccer skills he inherited from his dad during a sports lesson, and even roping in mum to show off some of her skills as well.

"I was incredibly proud of how he just got stuck in with all the kids," says Posh of her son.

Also in this week's magazine, Angelina Jolie reveals her secret family project, Take That's Mark Owen weds his sweetheart Emma in front of bandmates and Ulrika Jonsson shares her thoughts on Cheryl Cole.
