Karen Hardy's tip for sparkling through the night

We learned a great tip from Strictly Come Dancing's Karen Hardy, who won the fourth series of the show with partner Mark Ramprakash. Karen loves to sparkle and says she was still wearing high heels and full make-up as she went into hospital to give birth to her son Callum in 2005. If you love livening up your make-up with a bit of glitter dust at party time, Karen says the best way to make sure it stays on your face is to slick Vaseline over your skin before sprinkling it on. On the lips, apply lip colour, then glitter, finishing with a lip fixer such as Lipcote.
