Nails, hands and feet tip: Be careful with moisturised hands
25 NOVEMBER 2008Because the skin on the back of your hands is so thin, it shows signs of ageing much sooner than other parts of the body. What's more, as the skin gets a lot of exposure to ultraviolet light, it's prone to sun damage in the form of age spots. It's therefore wise to moisturise regularly with a cream containing sun protection factor. However, keep newly moisturised hands away from the face – the cream will transfer on to your complexion, making skin look shiny and weakening foundation coverage so it doesn't last as long.
