Keep legs looking smooth in short skirts

02 DECEMBER 2008

If broken veins or blemishes on your thighs make you feel self-conscious about wearing short skirts, apply foundation or concealer to the patches about which you feel most uncomfortable, setting with a little powder to help it stay in place. Be prepared for some to come off on your clothes, though, so only wear skirts or dresses you can wash at a high temperature to remove the make-up – foundation contains oils and setting agents that need hot water and soap to remove. Also, carry your make-up with you so you can reapply.
