The highest salt desert on the planet

On the Altiplano - the high plains - of Bolivia, 200 kilometres from the city of Potosi, the vast Salar de Uyuni salt flat spreads at an altitude of 3,600 metres above sea level. During the rainy season, the waters that cross the white crust are transformed into an unsettling mirror of incredible beauty that make it impossible to tell where the land ends and the sky begins.
