Michelle Pfeiffer is one of Hollywood's biggest and brightest stars, but it turns out that she's just like the rest of us. Taking to social media on Wednesday, the A-lister revealed that she'd made a hilarious faux pas while prepping her makeup for an interview - and it's so relatable. Posting a wide-eyed selfie on Instagram, the mum-of-two appeared stunned after she accidentally wiped her face with a mascara-covered tissue, leaving her with a huge smudge above her upper lip. Captioning the photo: "EEK!!! Doing my makeup for an interview and picked up the wrong tissue," the Scarface actress certainly had her 1.6million followers in stitches.

"Tales from the crypt," joked one, "Hahaha at least you didn't sneeze with wet lashes," replied another. As for Michelle's famous friends, Naomi Campbell commented: "Love your humor and beauty," while Hollywood stylist Samantha McMillen quipped: "I hate when that happens." Michelle's sister-in-law, celebrity jewelry designer Rona Pfeiffer, also responded, writing "Lol - still a beauty!"

Michelle often posts relatable content on her Instagram account, and fans love her for it. Last week she shared another hilarious photo from her home gym, writing: "Just not feelin' it." Pictured in all-black activewear as she sat unmotivated and unamused on her exercise bench, the 62-year-old certainly struck a chord. Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo replied: "A+ for effort." "Feeling you though," wrote model and Hitch actress, Amber Valetta.

Amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the A-lister has clearly kept in good spirits by using laughter as the best medicine. Back in May, she posted a pouty selfie on social media as she joked, "Is it over yet?" And she later stepped out in jeans and a chic leather jacket complete with a navy face covering, which she captioned: "New fashion accessory from my sis. Stay safe out there."
